Can't See the White Dot in Your Pupil?
Having trouble locating the white dot in your pupils? If you cannot distinguish a white dot in your pupils after taking the pictures for either calculating your PD or trying on frames, you can use this method as a last resort. Please be adviced that this method is not as accurate as the one using the white dots in your pupils!

We will be measuring your eyes by using the edges of your iris (the colored part of your eye). For the eye on the left we will use the outer most point of your iris, and for the eye on the right we will use the inner most point of your iris. Take a look at the picture on the right for an example. |
2. | Upload your picture to the Virtual Mirror. When prompted, click on the left eye to zoom in. |
3. | Click the outer most edge of your iris where it meets the white of your eye. | |
4. | Click on the right eye to zoom in. |
5. | Here you will click on the inner most edge of your iris. |
6. |
Once you have clicked on both eyes, follow the last prompts of the Virtual Mirror. Depending on whether you are uploading a picture to calculate PD or to try on frames, the last steps are different. |
