Glasses come in 3 styles:
Full rim: Lenses are surrounded on all sides with frame material.
Semi rimless: Lenses are partially surrounded with frame material, and part of the lens is held in place with a thin thread.
Rimless: There is no frame material surrounding the lenses; frame is drill-mounted onto the lenses.

Comment: I nearly missed out on this frame because I went looking at the "cats eye" shape category and saw nothing that I liked. But browsing through "semi rimless" I found this style which is, in fact a modified "cats eye" look. This is my second pair from Visio RX. It appears the prices have gone up a bit since my first pair, but they are still worth it for the quality and the service. |
