For sports activities, we offer 2 types of progressive designs: the iSport and the dSport. These are very similar but there are slight differences in the areas that are emphasized.

Our Visiero® iSport lens is designed with a a slightly larger intermediate area, which is useful for use in sports that utilize more intermediate vision than distance vision (think sports like volleyball and racquetball, where intermediate vision is crucial to align your body with the ball).

The Visiero® dSport lens has a larger distance zone, useful in sports requiring more distance vision (think baseball and basketball).

With the flexibility offered by the digital freeform back surface lens designs, a range of lenses is available that present excellent vision in the far and intermediate zones. With these lenses, the near vision zone is very limited, and as such we do not recommend these lenses for everyday wear.

These lenses are fully personalized for optimal viewing in all directions, hence the DRP (digital ray path) in the name of the lenses.
